Advent Devotional

Today's Scripture:
1 Thessalonians 5:16 Rejoice always

Reflect: Reflect on a story in your life that pertains to this scripture.
I hate when I have to get a shot at the doctor. But I know the shot is good for me, so that is good. I'm also happy that I got an Elsa bandaid and Chick-fil-A after the shot. We can all find things to be happy for and to thank God for. We all need to be thankful for God!

Read: What is this scripture telling you during this season?
Send love to God! Send joy to God! Always be happy! No matter what! That is what God wants us to do.

Respond: How is this scripture calling you to respond?
Ohhhhh the Lord is good to me! And so, I thank the Lord, for giving me, the things I need, the sun and the rain and the apple seed. The Lord is good to me! Amen!
