Whoever thought that grief would be described as grace? Anyone that has suffered loss knows that processing grief is very difficult. Grace hosts "A Grace Disguised" class where participants will learn and share about the grief process, pray and enjoy fellowship together. This is a five-week class meeting Thursdays at 6 p.m. in MT201 The class begins October 22. The book, A Grace Disguised by Jerry Sittser, will be available for purchase for $15 when you register or on the first day of class. G4 Monday Nights

Are you a single or married young adult between 18-35 years of age looking to get connected into a community? You’re invited to join us on Monday nights at 7 p.m in MT 208 for our weekly young adult gathering! No matter where you are in your walk with Jesus, this is a place for you to build deep relationships with other young adults while diving into God's Word and sharing in each other's lives. We will not meet on the following Mondays: October 12, November 23, December 21, or December 28.

We recognize everyone is on a journey to become a fully-formed disciple of Jesus Christ. Whether you have just begun this journey or have been a Christian your whole life, we want to meet you where you are. EPIC (Equipping People in Community) courses are one of the primary ways we seek to do that.

The Westminster Catechism
If you aren’t already part of an Equipping Hour class, this is a great place to jump in. The Westminster Catechism EPIC class will meet each week to discuss the catechism questions we’ve been reading and support each other as we practice the daily reading of scripture together. The class will be a discussion-based format facilitated by Grace pastors and staff. Even more importantly, this class--and all of the Equipping Hour classes--offer something we all need: a community of people with whom we can learn, grow, ask questions, and do life together.

Join the men of Grace each week for a new Thursday night Bible study. We’ll gather for dinner at the church at 6 p.m., with the study beginning at 7 p.m. Cornerstone will be meeting in MT201. Together, we’ll explore how Old Testament prophecies are fulfilled in the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. All men, high school age and up, are invited. Join us for "The Chosen" Bible study for women and men, Wednesdays, at 1 p.m., in MT 201.

Wednesday, October 21, beginning with dinner at 5:30 p.m.

Grace is pleased to host James Tour, PhD, a synthetic chemist and nanotechnologist and endowed professor of chemistry at Rice University. As a secular Jew, Dr. Tour never thought much about God or religion until he was personally and powerfully faced with the reality of Jesus Christ. Today, he is one of the most eminent scientific scholars in the world, yet more than anything, he lives his life to help others find Jesus. Come hear Dr. Tour’s story about how he became a man of faith in Jesus and what you can do to be a thriving Christian and tell the resurrection story.

The event will begin with dinner and music in the Courtyard at 5:30 p.m. Dr. Tour will begin the lecture in Massey-Tucker Hall at 6:30 p.m., while the Family Ministries team will simultaneously host a children/student event in which the children and students can have their deep faith questions answered in a way that is both fun and engaging for them.
