MAKE A JOYFUL NOISE!

The Grace Chancel Choir meets the first, third, and fifth Wednesday of each month at 7 p.m. in the Choir Rehearsal Room. We joyfully lead the congregation in music for special songs, traditional hymns and choral anthems, and join the praise band in leading our weekly worship service. The summer is the perfect time to check out or try out the choir! We choose easier music that you can sing well after a short amount of rehearsal or review. MEN'S AND WOMEN'S BIBLE STUDIES

Women's Summer Bible Study

Join us each Tuesday morning from June 16-August 4 in MT 201 from 10 a.m.-noon for our summer morning study, Angels: Finding Hope in God Who Reigns over Heaven and Earth, by Melissa Spoelstra.

The Bible speaks of angels often. Throughout the story of the Bible, they appear to people with messages, encouragement, and tangible help. Despite their frequent appearance in God's Word, our impression of angels is more often shaped by the myths and misconceptions that have developed over the centuries. We'll explore Scripture from Genesis to Revelation to learn about angels-who they are, what they do, and what they have to do with you. There's no reason to fear or ignore what's happening in the supernatural, unseen realm-we can live with confidence that God is in control of it all. Cornerstone Men's Bible Study

Join the men of Grace each week for a new Thursday night Bible study. We'll gather for dinner at the church at 6 p.m., with the study beginning at 7 p.m. Cornerstone will be meeting in MT201. Together, we'll explore how Old Testament prophecies are fulfilled in the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. All men, high school age and up, are invited. FAMILY SUMMER STORY TIME

Parents and kids are invited to join us for Family Summer Story Time with Children’s Ministries! We will gather in Massey-Tucker Fellowship Hall at 10 a.m. for a family-friendly hour of crafts and activities themed around amazing true stories from the Bible!

GOOD NEWS OF THE WEEK

We celebrate the things that we have offered to God that are bearing fruit—We celebrate what God is doing!

We are on the last day of another amazing week of Vacation Bible School! God has been moving mightily throughout the week, touching the lives of the children and leaders alike. Continue to pray that the spark that may have been lit will soon burn brighter--so many of the kids here this week are not Grace members and many list no church home at all!

We are thankful for the numerous teen and adult volunteers who have been sharing a big part of their week with VBS, and the many behind-the-scenes folks working tirelessly over the last weeks and months to make this week the best of the summer. Next week, we will share all the final numbers of kids attending, donation totals, meals packed and all the parts of VBS that make it the best week of the summer!

THE BIBLE IN A YEAR UPDATES

We are underway in the New Testament. If you are just joining us, or if you have lost steam, this is a perfect place to start up! The complete summer reading plan is available in the church lobby and online HERE. You can do this! Whatever your situation, nothing will benefit you more than diving deeply into God's transforming Word.

HERE you will find a multitude of other resources to help you with the reading plan, including videos, podcasts, and articles to bring greater insight to what you have read. You will also find recaps and summaries of sections for times when you may fall behind. Keep up the good work!
