VACATON BIBLE SCHOOL VOLUNTEERS

VBS registration is currently only available via the waiting list. We can only get these kiddos to VBS with your help! We are in need of 70 crew leaders for VBS week. We cannot clear the wait list because we don't have enough leaders! Please pray about whether you can directly impact the lives of these children for VBS and volunteer HERE!

Another way to help is by the Amazon Wishlist! Help us make VBS available for all kids by donating crafts, snacks and supplies! We also welcome monetary donations to purchase crafts, supplies and snacks to fuel this great big journey. With your donation, hundreds of kids will get to hear about a BIG God who loves them more than they could ever imagine.

MEN'S MINISTRY BASEBALL NIGHT

Baseball season is here! Men, come join us with your children or your grandchildren on Saturday, May 16, as we watch the Astros take on their archrival Texas Rangers. Gametime is 6:10 p.m., and we have a limited number of tickets available, so register today HERE! Check back soon for details about possible meet ups and tailgates!

FAMILY PARK DAY TOMORROW

On Friday, April 24, all Children’s Ministry families are invited to join us for a awesome evening of fellowship at Walnut Bend Recreation Center (10601 Briar Forest Drive, Houston, TX 77042). We encourage families to invite friends and neighbors to come along! Join us from 5:30–7:30 p.m. for a great night of games, food, and time together.

Grace is growing again! This Sunday, April 26, is the day for a new Covenant Partner Course, in MT103 at 11 a.m. The course is for all who are interested in learning more about Grace’s key theological beliefs and the vision, the mission, and the strategy. The course is led by pastors, elders, deacons, and staff and it is our unique way of talking about membership in a congregation. During the course, you will be invited to explore how joining as a “Covenant Partner” is a significant next step in your journey of faith in Jesus. Refreshments and drinks will be provided. If you have children, Children’s Ministry offerings will be provided from 11 a.m. to noon and then childcare will be provided until 1 p.m. If you'd like to know more about this class, contact Jamie Horton at jhorton@gpch.org.

THE BIBLE IN A YEAR UPDATES

As you continue through The Bible in a Year, we hope your curiosity is peaked about some of the passages you are reading. You're not alone! Monday – Thursday each week, catch Word About the Word, a short clip around 3-4 minutes from members of the Grace Family chatting about what they gleaned from the Scripture for the day. If you want to go deeper in your reading, listen along with us as your friends dig into the text! All the clips are available HERE.

HERE you will find a multitude of other resources to help you with the reading plan, including videos, podcasts, and articles to bring greater insight to what you have read. You will also find recaps and summaries of sections for times when you may fall behind. Keep up the good work!
