Maundy Thursday Remembrance and Supper

Thursday, April 2, 6:30 p.m., MT Fellowship Hall

This multi-generational supper is a mosaic of beautiful traditions that we cherish from the past meshed with the new traditions we are making together as the Grace family of today. We will be led by Scripture as we walk through the final moments Jesus had with his disciples at the Last Supper. Serving one another with our very hands and actively participating in the evening, we will share this simple meal and count down the final days of the Lenten season together before turning our eyes to Good Friday. No childcare will be provided as we encourage guests and covenant partners alike to experience this beautiful family-friendly evening together. We hope that you will join us.




VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL REGISTRATION VBS REGISTRATION opens on April 1, 2026 at 6 a.m. Welcome to Treasured VBS—where we discover God’s greatest treasure isn’t diamonds, gems, or gold—it’s us! It’s a treasure-hunting, jungle-vine-swinging adventure, so get ready to channel your inner Indiana Jones. As we traverse an ancient jungle to discover its lost treasures, kids will learn there’s no prize more valuable than they are, because God treasures each of them. We are created by God. He knows us inside and out, all the way to our heart, and even though we make mistakes, he still chooses us and wants us to take part in His big plan. He wants us to seek him, like a great treasure, pointing our hearts and minds to him, having the courage to trust him and share the good news of Jesus with those around us. Because Jesus died for us and forgave us, we can put our faith in Him. We can share in His big plan and trek through life knowing we are Treasured.   VBS 2026 is June 8-11, 9:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.

SPECIAL EASTER OPPORTUNITIES JOIN YOUR FRIENDS AND FAMILY AND PARTICIPATE IN THESE EASTER ACTIVITIES! EASTER PRAYER VIGIL Grace Presbyterian Church invites all covenant partners and friends in our community to join our Easter Prayer Vigil from 5 p.m. on Good Friday through 6:30 a.m. on Easter Sunday. This 36-hour vigil is a sacred opportunity for our church body to prepare our hearts together for the joy of Easter morning. As we remember Christ’s death and anticipate His resurrection, we believe prayer unites us as one body and centers us on the hope we proclaim. You are invited to sign up for a 20-minute prayer slot during this time. You may pray wherever you feel most led — at home, in the sanctuary, outdoors, or with family and friends. Whether alone or with others, your prayers matter and strengthen our shared witness. Sign up for your slot HERE. This Prayer Guide offers simple ideas to help focus your time, but you are free to pray as you feel led. Thank you for joining us in this meaningful tradition.  LILY DEDICATIONS In celebration of Easter, please consider dedicating an Easter lily to remember or honor someone you love. Dedications will be accepted through Monday, March 30 and may be made HERE. Flowers you have dedicated will be available to pick up after the 11 a.m. service on Easter Sunday, April 5. GRACE'S GREATEST BAKER Whether you want to try out a new recipe, or you have a tried and true, passed-down-from-generation one, we would love to enjoy your delicious treats on Easter morning! But only one will be named Grace's Greatest Baker! Stop by the Welcome Center on Sundays and pick up a platter, a judge's plate, and an entry tag. On Saturday, April 4, place a sample of your entry on the judge's plate with the entry tag taped to the bottom and place the rest of your treats on the platter for the congregation to enjoy. Bring both the platter and plate on Saturday from 1-5 p.m. to the kitchen in Massey-Tucker Fellowship Hall to be served on Easter morning. Please make sure to put the entry tag on the judge's platter you are bringing, so we know who to celebrate when you win! Register HERE! If you would prefer not to be entered into the competition, we would love it if you would still bake something to share with our congregation and guests--you may sign up for a spot and just comment to not be entered!

GOOD NEWS OF THE WEEK

We celebrate the things that we have offered to God that are bearing fruit-- We celebrate what God is doing!

For many years, Grace Presbyterian Church has provided Easter Baskets for Presbyterian Children's Homes and Services families and children each spring. This year, the baskets were a bit different. Due to the deep cuts to SNAP benefits which affected their struggling clients, they asked for food baskets. Grace delivered in a big way. Covenant Partners provided ten ‘Breakfast for Dinner’ and ten ‘Teach Your Child to Cook’ baskets to fill client pantries. Pictured are Pat Aivano and PCHAS Volunteer Lynne Parsons who helped to transport the baskets to the Single Parent Family Program on St. John’s Presbyterian Church’s campus. Thank you to all who filled a basket this year--you made a difference during a tough season!

WORSHIP THIS SUNDAY

This Sunday is Palm Sunday, and The Bible in a Year study continues and this week we are looking into Zechariah 9:9-13. We will also have a Children at the Chancel time AND the children will be a part of a palm processional at the beginning of the service, so get there early! See you at 9:30 a.m.!
