  1. STUDENT SUPPORT
  2. Please consider supporting the essential needs of local school children attending Walnut Bend Elementary, Paul Revere Middle School, and Emerson Elementary School this fall. Grace will be collecting full size hygiene items and new athletic shoes throughout the month of July--donation boxes will be set up throughout the Welcome Center. On Sundays after worship, beginning July 13 and continuing though August 10, there will also be an opportunity to underwrite the cost of back-to-school essentials:

    - Backpacks $25

    - Athletic shoes $40

    - Hygiene kits $30

    - School uniforms $20 (top and bottom) or

    - School uniforms $50 (two sets, socks and underwear)

Look for the table in the Welcome Center!

  3. SERVE DAY AT PAUL REVERE
  4. Join us for a day of joy, fellowship, and service as we come together to support our local students and teachers! Serve Day at Paul Revere Middle School is Saturday, July 26, 8 a.m.- 2 p.m. We'll gather on campus at Paul Revere to help paint and prepare classrooms for the new school year. While HISD recently painted the hallways, Principal Wiley has asked for our help to give the classrooms a fresh start! Let's show our students they are loved by creating clean, welcoming spaces where they can thrive. Bring your favorite paintbrush and wear clothes you don't mind getting messy! No experience needed--just a willing heart and a few hours of your time. Snacks and drinks will be provided! To sign up or for more information, contact Kristy Elmore.

  5. GRACE812 TUESDAYS
  6. Every Tuesday, Grace812 gathers in Massey-Tucker Hall. But what is Grace812?

We are a community of people with a desire to establish a meaningful relationship with God, gathering to share a meal and conversation about our spiritual journey and learning how to live the life God intended for each of us!

    What is Grace812 about?

Grace812 is church done differently! All of us, at one time or another, have been faced with challenging life events. In these times, Grace812 is here to help us recover from trials as we trudge through the journey to a deeper life. Our help is because of THE GIFT of Grace from God. Our foundation is built upon THE TRUTH, the teachings of Jesus in the eight Beatitudes from the Bible. THE PATH is an intentional discipleship road map allowing us to live life fully.

    When is Grace812?

Every Tuesday evening at Grace, in MT101. Currently, we are looking at where the 12 Steps are found in the Bible, while seeing applications to and for everyone of any time or demographic.

5:45 p.m. Doors open and community meal

    6:20 p.m. Contemplative service

7:30 p.m. Step Bible study, Al-Anon Parent Group, other recovery meetings, small groups, and Bible studies.

You are welcome for ANY part of the night!

If you would like to help prepare a meal for the evening, we would be delighted if you would sign up HERE!

For more information, drop us an email or call 281-800-8555.

GOOD NEWS OF THE WEEK

We celebrate the things that we have offered to God that are bearing fruit-- We celebrate what God is doing!

The 2025 High School Mission trip was incredible! Our group of 31 students and leaders traveled to San Antonio, TX to partner with our good friends at Blueprint Ministries. The group worked incredibly hard to complete roofing projects, repair flood damage, and build strong relationships with the homeowners they served. All of the groups were able to finish their work projects during the week, and more importantly, the students modeled the love of Jesus to everyone around them! The students cared for one another deeply and were a great example for the other churches they worked with during the week.
Next up: The Middle School Mission Trip, July 13-17!

WORSHIP THIS SUNDAY

If you are out of town or unable to be here to worship in-person this week, please join us online via livestream HERE.

This Sunday, we will continuing the sermon series on Zechariah, looking into Zechariah 6:9-15. We'll be celebrating The Lord's Supper and also commissioning the Middle School Mission Trip. Equipping Hour classes and the summer Preacher's Class begin at 11 a.m.

See you Sunday at 9:30 a.m.!

__________

We often hear about “time” as one of the aspects of Generous Living. An easy way to contribute your time is to consider joining the team of ushers at Grace. This necessary service provides a rewarding opportunity to meet and greet the members of the family of Grace. Please reach out to Harold Silver (713-304-0436) or Richard Raines (281-658-8114) with questions or to express an interest in serving as an usher.
