    9 and 11 a.m. in the Sanctuary
Grace en EspaƱol worship at 11:15 a.m. in the Founders' Chapel

ā€œThe Lord is Risen! He is Risen Indeed!ā€ Join us on Easter for a joy-filled Sunday celebrating our risen Lord with a sermon by The Rev. Dr. Julia Leeth, and inspiring music to rejoice and praise His name this special morning. Sunday school classes are not meeting on Easter Sunday, but will return April 27. Child care for kindergarten-age and under will be available beginning at 8:45 a.m. Coffee and light refreshments—including all the entries in the Grace’s Greatest Baker competition—will be available in the CafĆ© between the services.

    Butterflies and Bubbles

Children and their families are invited to join us between morning Easter Services in the Courtyard to release butterflies and blow bubbles.

  3. MAUNDY THURSDAY & GOOD FRIDAY
  4. Maundy Thursday Remembrance and Supper
Thursday, April 17, 6:30 p.m., MT Fellowship Hall
This multi-generational supper is a mosaic of beautiful traditions that we cherish from the past meshed with the new traditions we are making together as the Grace family of today. We will be led by Scripture as we walk through the final moments Jesus had with his disciples at the Last Supper. Serving one another with our very hands and actively participating in the evening, we will share this simple meal and count down the final days of the Lenten season together before turning our eyes to Good Friday. No childcare will be provided as we encourage guests and covenant partners alike to experience this beautiful family-friendly evening together. We hope that you will join us.

    Good Friday Worship Service
    Friday, April 18, 7 p.m., Sanctuary
A solemn evening service for this, the darkest of days of remembrance. You will gain a new understanding of Jesus’ sacrifice and the reason for each day of reflection and remembrance during Holy Week. The service will make Easter even more joyful, as the darkness and reflection of the Good Friday Tenebrae service will remind us on Easter Sunday of all the many reasons to praise him through every season!

  5. PRAYER VIGIL & GREATEST BAKER
  6. Easter Prayer Vigil
All of our covenant partners and friends are invited to participate in an Easter Prayer Vigil, held from 5 p.m. on Good Friday (April 18) to 6:30 a.m. on Easter Sunday (April 20). This 36-hour vigil offers a special opportunity to join together in prayer, reflecting on the significance of Christ's resurrection. We are looking for individuals and families to sign up for 20-minute prayer slots during this time. Whether you're praying on your own or with others, this is a sacred time to come before God in the quiet hours leading up to Easter. Sign up HERE and be part of this meaningful tradition as we prepare our hearts for the joy of Easter morning.

To help you focus your time of prayer, a prayer guide is available HERE.

    Grace’s Greatest Baker
    Drop-off Saturday, April 19, 1-5 p.m.
Grace's Greatest Baker Ingredients: Sugar, Spice, and everything nice.

GOOD NEWS OF THE WEEK

We celebrate the things that we have offered to God that are bearing fruit-- We celebrate what God is doing!

Spanning 3.4 acres on Wilcrest Drive just north of Richmond Avenue, the Westchase District’s brand-new Camden Park features a 30,000-square foot activity lawn with a multi-purpose pavilion for concerts and performances, an onsite restaurant, a sprawling children’s playground with unique play structures and a water zone, and a fenced dog park. And this past Saturday, it featured dozens of Grace volunteers greeting hundreds of people from the nearby neighborhood there for the grand opening celebration. Volunteers welcomed visitors with a smile, manned activity stations, and had folks dancing on the lawn to the sounds of the Grace Worship band and Grace en EspaƱol. Best of all, we were able to both introduce the church to those who might not yet be familiar with Grace and to invite them to the upcoming Holy Week and Easter celebrations. Grace's name was spread all around west Houston at this event, and our prayer is that we will see some new faces this week in our halls, so be ready to share a warm greeting at whatever service you will be attending!
